It's all happening at the Park. New trellis and refurbishment of the fountain in the Italian gardens and work on the Cocker Clock Tower for the Centenary Celebration on 2rd and 3rd October 2026. Great work Blackpool Council and a great achievement by the Friends by raising £50,000 towards the cost!
Please make a donation in support of the park and our events including the bandstand shows.
What's happening
Members Meetings
Member's meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month. The next meeting is Saturday 19th September 2026 at 2pm in the Visitor Centre.
The Guest Speaker is to be announced. Tea and coffee is available from 1pm. Non-members are welcome.
Upcoming Activity Summary
On now in the Visitor Centre we have the Art Exhibition 'Stanley Park through the Seasons' until end of October'
The largest events are the Centenary Celebration on Friday 2nd October and Saturday 3rd October. Full details are to be announced but Friday will be a Ceremonial Event while Saturday will be a Celebration'
The Creative Hub will be held in the Visitor Centre on Sundays 20th September and then every two weeks, 10am to 12.30pm.
The Book Club will be held on Thursday 24th September 2.30pm for 3pm start, in the Visitor Centre. Then monthly.
The Macmillan Cancer Support Morning coffee will be held on Saturday 26th September 10.20 to 2.30pm in the Visitor Centre.
The Halloween Weekend will be held in the Visitor Centre on Saturday and Sunday 31st October and 1st November 10.30am to 2.30pm
The Creative Hub

Artists, crafters, photographers, come along with whatever you are working on Sunday 6th September from 10 to 12.30 at Stanley Park Visitor Centre, have a brew and a chat and meet like minded folk. Ideal for those who work and can't get to the Tuesday craft club. I'd love to meet you, Gill

Summer Bandstand Shows 2027
Bandstand shows will re-commence in May 2027 until August Bank Holiday 2027.

Weekly Meetings
Craft Club: Every Tuesday 10am to 3pm in the Visitor Centre.
Dog Walkers Club: Every Wednesday 10am to noon in the Visitor Centre hosted by Pauline.
Gardners' Club: Every Monday and Thursday 10am to 12. Meet in the Rose Garden or Memorial Garden.
Summer Sundays: Music on the Bandstand, volunteers always welcome.
